I see a pointer to the ms scripting site - caution - you HAVE to use
IE to use it. All its nifty DHTML or whatever it is doesn't work in
Netscape.

as decent reference points. I don't know if any have tutorials
on building news scripts in particular, but many of the
4guys references are decently put together.
It's also good to read how some of the 'other camps' do their
scripting. New ideas about how to do your own stuff (or
reasons to be thankful you use PHP) might be found! :)
