php.ini location?

hi, hi, i'm compiling php4 as a .so file and link into stronghold (commercial version of apache) 3.0. right now i'm having trouble getting the .so version of php to read the defaults (especailly the timeout time) from the php.ini file, but i can't figure out where the .so file reads taht .ini file.... i have put the php.ini file into all teh suggested places like /etc, /usr/local/lib, PHPRC, and www/bin (where httpd is), and nothing seems to be working (ie, php is not reading the file). i was wondernig if someone could tell me where to put this file... :P oh, i'm running solaris 2.6 with stronghold 3.0. tahnx in advance for any help!! :) ---------------- remco chang bountyquest.com
