Hello all,
I am using Redhat 6.2, Apache 1.3.12, php 3.0.15 and MySQL 3.23.22 for a
particular project. As the RH 6.2 won't come with MySQL support(but it comes
with PHP support) it seems to be i need to reinstall PHP once again.
I don't see the 'configure' program in the PHP directory so that i can use
the following command to make PHP and MySQL to communicate.
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --enable-track-vars
So the only option left for me it seems to be is getting a new copy of PHP
and installing the same. If so the following questions follow:
1. Do i need to delete the existing PHP stuff(including php3.ini file) from
my computer before reinstalling any new copy.
2. Can i use PHP 4.0.2 for reinstallation.
Thanks in advance
