Hey everyone,
I developed a Javadoc-like tool for parsing and documenting PHP class
definitions. Its written completely in Java (I know it probably would have
been more poetic to write the thing in PHP) and is still in a very early
beta stage. I was wondering if anyone is interested in testing it and giving
me some general feedback; I would really like to know what people would need
in such a tool. Just to give a little background, the application works
almost exactly like Javadoc, and is thus named phpdoc. For anyone familiar
with Javadoc1.3, phpdoc also support Javadoc's idea of doclets, which allow
you to plugin your own Java extension that can format the gathered class
data however you wish. Theres more, but you can view the rest at
http:\\www.callowayprints.com\phpdoc\phpdoc.php,
where you can download a
jar containing the application. There are instructions at the above URL for
installing and using the application, be warned, you should know how to
change your classpath enviroment variable. Anyways, thanks to anyone who
tries it out, and Ille release source to anyone whom requests it,
Christian Calloway
