stripslashes()
See: http://www.php.net/manual/function.stripslashes.php
example:
<?php
$someString = "Isn\'t PHP wonderful?";
$someString = stripslases($someString);
print($someString);
?>
should give you:
Isn't PHP wonderful?

Subject: [PHP] ' as \' in posted form data: how to fix
Hello,
I have a form being submitted to PHP 4 (release candidate 1). The data is
text submitted in the post method. However, the ' in the text is represented
as \' when I e-mail the text. The data isn't url encoded--spaces are spaces.
Seems this is a PHP issue. How do I fix this?
Alan
