Maybe not - while I have had no problems with PHP, one of the applications
I wrote with PHP produced a file type 'PRN' (a column formatted table of
values). IE5.0 seemed to ignore the mime type specified even if I rolled my
own headers - with other browsers, the type, which was not registered on
the browser caused it to give a download dialog - IE5.0 decided that it was
a text file and it was going to show it in place. The solution was to setup
the type in IE5.0, although the problem is that IE5.0 uses really bad /
non-standard mime type handling.
Is it the output it is displaying (as my problem) or your script (in which
case it probably is your server types need tweaking)
