I'm trying to use the "http" variation of "include", so that
I can pass a parameter to the .php file being included. I've
followed the docs but can't get this to work.
I have
test1.php
---------
<?
echo "test1.php before";
include("http://server/testdir/test1_inc.php?myfile=test2.inc");
echo "test1.php after";
?>
test1_inc.php
-------------
<?
echo "test1_inc.php before";
include("$myfile");
echo "test1_inc.php after";
?>
test2.inc
---------
<?
echo "made it to 2<br>";
?>
I get this:
test1.php before
test1_inc.php before
test1_inc.php after
test1.php after
but it doesn't print "made it to 2" - does anyone know why
the test1_inc.php include of $myfile(test2.inc) is NOT
working?
TIA.
