Anyone know a good mysql newsgroup to compliment thid php newsgroup

er... http://lists.mysql.com/ (google could have told you this) also php-db@list.php.net is a good list to ask questions specific to using DBs with php. that said you can often get away with posting mysql questions here (especially if you show that your 'doing' it in php) because this list is remarkably well endowed with compulsive ['newbie'**] helpers :-).... of course we would prefer OT questions are not posted here, but hell will freeze over before everyone stops doing that :-) ** as in 'people who compulsively want to help newbies', rather than 'people that are newly infected by the helping virus' (of which there are many on this list also ;-).
