Hello i am in the process of evaluating frameworks and application generators to create dynamic sites that can be maintained by non experts. project midgar seemed to be soemthing like what i needed but it appair to use some weird approach, by using a compiled backend, an apache module and a modified version of PHP (downloadable from their site) Has any1 been able to run it off standard PHP 4 ? with php releases coming out every 2 weeks i dont really want to be stuck with some special version to run my site. by the way their website (www.project-midgard.org) has been rather dead lately. I have also checked out phpslash .. but i think that can get you a good discussion site up.. not really a portal or a more developed information site. Ideas and pointers anyone? thanks so much in advance. Giovanni Tummarello tummarel@ascu.unian.it Fight Spam!
