Berber is right, there's no way to get the filesize DURING the upload
process, but you can check the file size on the remote directory before
uploading it.

Is there a possibility to ask the Apache for the filesize of a upload-file
d u r i n g the upload-process and before the file is stored in the TMPDIR?
