If you update to php 3.0.17 or 3.0.18-dev you will get a version of php3?mssql.dll compiled and
linked against SQL Server 7 header and include files.
You migth still have a problem with NCHAR or NVARCHAR types as these are truncated to 255 chars.
Iwould recomment the use of TEXT columns.
