I have a binary LDAP attribute which contains a certificate and which I
want to
retrieve from the LDAP server using the LDAP functions of PHP.
The strlen() function tells me that this string which should contain the
binary
certificate data is 26 bytes long but the the certificate is definitely
longer.
If I use the ldapsearch command line tool I get the whole set of binary
data.
So the data is really inside the LDAP tree but how do I access binary
data using PHP
in this case?
It seems to me that somehow the string is terminated by something
(terminating 0?).
Is this a bug? I am using PHP 4.0.2 within Apache.
