6. PHP is a server side scripting language. Whatever processing PHP does takes place BEFORE the output reaches the client. Therefore, it is not possible to access users' computer related information (OS, screen size etc) using PHP. Nor can you modify any the user side settings. You need to go for JavaScript and ask the question in a JavaScript list.
Since you brought it up :-) Can anybody recommend a good JavaScript mailing list? Thanks, Rick -- Rick Emery "When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the Earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return" -- Leonardo Da Vinci
