Screen Sizes

Hey all, I have a centering script that centers all of the interface elements of a DHTML site when a page loads. It works rather well, but I wish I could pre-set those x and y coordinates on the server side before the page is served. So my question, does anyone know if there is a way to retrieve the browser or window size from the clients browser outside of javascript? I know it's a far fetched cry, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case it IS possible. Much thanks, Toby
