Is the odbc.ini file in /etc? That is where easysoft is looking
for it for me.

Subject: [PHP] Easysofts ODBC-ODBC Bridge
Hey all,
Good to see the list is serving again ;-)
I was wondering if anyone is using Easysoft's ODBC-ODBC Bridge to
connect to databases on a windows box from linux using php
configured as
the client?
I have setup a datasource and compiled php --with-esoob, I have
configured the odbc.ini in /etc but I am getting the following
error
while tring to connect. As far as I can tell the ip and port are
correct
for the oob server, and the driver has been specified.
SQL error: [Easysoft ODBC (Client)]Data source not found and no
default
driver specified, SQL state IM002 in SQLConnect
Here is what my odbc.ini looks like:
[Data]
Description = OOB
Driver = OOB
Trace = No
TraceFile =
Server = some.ip.address
Transport = tcpip
Port = 88888
LogonUser = myUsername
LogonAuth = myPassword
TargetDSN = myData
TargetUser =
TargetAuth =
The datasource is working as I have used coldfusion under windows
with
it and also browsed it using Borlands database explorer.
If anyone has any ideas it would be mutch appreciated.
Regards,
Joseph
