New User Problem..........

Hiee! I just added the following entries manually in mysql monitor. INSERT INTO User (Host, User, Password, Select_priv, etc...) VALUES ('%', 'dhaval', PASSWORD('xyz'),'Y','Y','Y','Y') ./mysqladmin -p flush-privileges Password: xyz I have updated the User table under mysql database as above. Actually I want to add a new user dhaval with a host % with the first privileges. Do I need to make changes in any other tables..??? And Also Grant doesn't work with me....what could be the reason..?
