the most basic is : if (!$print == yes) { include 'header.inc'; // or header functions, etc } <h3>uh huh</h3> content on every page oh ya baby! -- <a href="foo.php?print=yes">view print mode</a> if (!$print == yes) { include 'footer.inc'; } and you can add these everywhere for colors, etc. in the near future you will see an article on this subject ... from me! am working on it anyways. also remember, colors, table widths, etc. and yes, CSS works nicely. philip olson -- be outside the box.
