I guess it's from a clean-up method.
$this is just a name for the actual instance of a class (i.e. the object).
the class defines an attribute, `that', which is an object too.
so with : $this->that we are refering to it.
now, we want to call the ac_delete() method on that member object,
that's $this->that->ac_delete().
