strange include_path (fwd)

I have a very strange problem with PHP 4.0.3 (not pl1 yet). Sometimes with
PHP-scripts, you'll see only this warning message, even with simple scripts like

Can somebody help me out with this ?
I tried to set 'include_path = .:/usr/local/lib/php/' in php.ini, but that was
not successfull.
