you cant just mix html tags and image data and expect them to be on the same page to get both html and images displayed. if you want image, use a <IMG> tag, whose SRC attribute maybe a php file, and this php file will output _only_ image data, i.e. echo $obj->photo; nothing more, except if you want to add a http header header('Content-type: image/jpeg'); Good luck!
