Hello,
I want to be able to know the characteristics of a file pointer :
$fp=fopen("file.dat","w");
I want to be able to get the "w", so that I can compare it to w, a, r, w+
and so on.
For exemple, I want to do :
$mode_of_pointer=mode($fp); \\I am looking for that function
if(mode_of_pointer=="w")
{
flock($fp,2);
}
elseif(mode_of_pointer=="r")
{
flock($fp,1)
}
