Stephan,
You want to pass the variables while the URL Is still clean? The
only way I know, is to pass them trough a form as you yourself
wrote. To pass other variables to script, use hidden form elements
for each variable. However, I suggest passing the variable without
a form unless it must be securely passed.

Subject: [PHP] Q: Calling a script and keeping the URL clean
Hi,
when I post variables using a HTML form like this
echo ("<form method=POST action=\"SECONDSCRIPT.PHP">\n");
echo ("<input type=hidden name=aVar value=\"$aVar\">"); [...]
the URL is still clean and only shows "www.xyz.de\SECONDSCRIPT.PHP" in
the addressline of the browser.
Now I want to call a script without any user interaction. I use:
Header("Location: $BASEURL?aVar=" . rawurlencode($aVar));
The URL shows "www.xyz.de\SECONDSCRIPT.PHP?aVar=Hello%20world". Is there
an alternative method to pass variables between scripts?
Thanx very much.
Stephan
