why not just do: unset($dbObject);We were using unset() for the longest time but found it doesn't seem to free up the memory.
You are right. My original email contained a typo. It should have been '=&' as that is what is in our code. thnx, Chris$dbObject &= new IPI_OfficeDetailsInterface();so you want to do a bitwise AND on a non-existant variable and a newly creately object?? maybe you meant to do: $dbObject =& new IPI_OfficeDetailsInterface();
