Either mod_rewrite (look in apache docs)
Or something like .htaccess settings
eg
.htaccess
DirectoryIndex myphpscriptinhere.php
Note that you'll have to do some parsing of the REQUEST_URI in your php
script.
(which is what you get back from apache to parse those ?xxx=yyy with)
I do something like
$var = substr ($REQUEST_URI,1,(strlen($REQUEST_URI)-2));
To get my www.xxx.com/path/parameters_here into $var.
cheers,
Lawrence.

Subject: [PHP] Drop the var from var=$value
Never saw this one come through. Sorry if it is a duplicate....
Sorry, I couldn't figure out how else to work this. I have seen sites that
have the url strings like this....http://www.mydomain.com?value instead of
http://www.mydomain.com?val=value
How can I get this to work on my pages?
Thanks
CDitty
