Has anyone had any luck getting php4 to compile with Java support
under Solaris 2.6? I have tried using --with-java=/usr/java1.2 (base dir
for java install) and I have had no luck, it just bombs when I try to do a
make all.... I am using gcc on Solaris 2.6, and the Sun Java SDK (1.2.2)
Here's what ./configure barfs....
creating ./config.status
creating php4.spec
sed: command garbled: s%@JAVA_JAR@%
creating Zend/Makefile
sed: command garbled: s%@JAVA_JAR@%
creating build-defs.h
sed: command garbled: s%@JAVA_JAR@%
creating sapi/apache/libphp4.module
and so on for all the files created....
My entire ./configure line is:
./configure --with-ldap=/usr/local/ldap --without-mysql
--with-apache=/export/devel/mcj/src/apache_1.3.12 --enable-calendar
--enable-ftp --enable-track-vars --with-gd=/usr/local
--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local --enable-libgcc --with-java=/usr/java1.2
--with-gdbm
If I omit the --with-java line, everything else compiles fine.
Am I doing something stupid, or do I need to report a bug?
Thanks in advance,
Michael Jackson
