Here's my setup: RedHat 6.2 Nedit 5.1.1 Netscape 4.72 Mozilla (download a nightly build once a week - some are quite stable!) vmware-> win98 -> IE and netscape vmware-> an exact duplicate of my debian server I write/debug PHP code 6 hours a day on this box (and do 4 more hours on an identical box at home) I also administer a Windows NT4 domain from this box. All this on a PII/400 256MB RAM (a AMD K62/500 384MB at home) Both boxes have been running this config since about a month after RedHat 6.2 was released. total 2 system lock ups between both machines in the last ~6 months (both my fault) netscape is, well, netscape nedit hasn't once given me a problem win98 seems to run better under vmware than nativly Any way, I'm quite satisfied with this set up. It's stable, productive, and fits in oddly well with all the windoze users I'm surround by.
