humbug David :-) - turns out lines 89-91 will tell the OP nothing about the error because the its the definition of function getBlock() that is missing a closing brace (at around line 38) that si causing the error. once you add the missing brace the script works (at least it dumped a load of content from http://www.techdeals.net/ onto my console). by helping you get your sample code working are per chance hepling into life yet another 'linkfarm' or some similarly SEO related nasty? grds, Jochem PS - 'Queen Alexandra' is a kind of poppy, apparently
