I have PHP 4.0.3pl1 (was using 4.0.2, but this error prompted me to upgrade) on RH Linux 6.2, talking to OpenLDAP 2.0.4. On returning phone numbers from the LDAP (telephoneNumber) it reports "Decoding Error" (used ldap_error(connection id)). Has anyone seen this before? I can not find a fix anywhere. I can search from the command line and it will return the telephoneNumber(s). I am retrieving other telephone numbers from the LDAP at the same time (pager, and mobile) and those work no problem, just the telephoneNumber field. Format for telephoneNumber attribute is: telephoneNumber: +1 555-555-1234 I found errors in the Bug Database containing this exact thing; however, those referred to people searching for attributes that do not exist; telephoneNumber is an attribute in this LDAP and does exist. -- Micah Almond Systems Administrator - Programmer Information Design and Technology Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine Virginia Tech DuckPond Dr., Phase III Blacksburg, VA 24061-0442 540.231.2315 malmond@vt.edu
