Sessions and classes.

Is there any way to save the class's variable stat with sessions... can I do this...
session_start();
session_register('list');
session_register('verify');
where list and verify are the names of classes which set variables, and recall variables in
different pages which call session?
or do I have to register each variable the class sets?
