Hello Everyone... I am experiencing a problem that I have never seen before... Basically what I have is a standard form with error checking.. After I pass with NO errors (missed fields), I should move on to the next step, but I don't.. I get document contained no data in the browser, and this in the Apache error log: [Wed Nov 1 20:24:57 2000] [notice] child pid 76021 exit signal Floating point exception (8) Now maybe I am just being stupid and missing something, so here is the code: URL: http://digitali.somers.net/apply.php <? print "this is the start, do I print?"; $star = '<font color="#FF0000" size=+1>*</font>'; # Unless process = 1 if($process == ""){ include("apply_form.php"); exit;} # Check for Errors if($Salutation == ""){ $error=1; $SalutationError="$star";} if($FirstName == ""){ $error=1; $FirstNameError="$star";} if($LastName == ""){ $error=1; $LastNameError="$star";} if($EmailOne == ""){ $error=1; $EmailOneError="$star";} if($EmailTwo == ""){ $error=1; $EmailTwoError="$star";} if($EmailOne == "$EmailTwo"){ $EmailGood=1; } else{ $error=1; $EmailOneError="$star"; $EmailTwoError="$star";} # Display Errors if($error == "1"){ include("apply_form.php"); exit;} # No Errors, Continue print "no errors here, so I should print..."; ?> Now as you can see my first line should print something, and it does as long as I don't pass the error checking (must miss a field).. So if I miss any of the fields, it tells me, and it works beautifully.. So after all fields are correctly filled in, it should not be stopped by any of the "if" statements, therefor it should print the last line.. but it doesn't.... it doesn't even print the very first line, so I am now to the point of extreme confusion.. What would make it do the error checking, but not the very first thing I told it to do (print the first line)? SYSTEM: FreeBSD 3.4, Apache 1.3.12, PHP 4.0.2 Any help is greatly appreciated.. :) Thanks in Advance, ..rick
