I'm working on a piece of an application that we'd like to distribute to other sites. Basically, it would be a REST application where the client would transform the xml into html. I'd like to xsl for the transformation but was curious about how prevelant xsl is installed in a shared hosting environment. Is this a bad assumption? I'm pretty sure that both amazon uses a REST interface with the client transforming on the browser. What would be alternatives that could be achieved in a shared hosting environment?
