Hi,
How do I add a session variable to this page(index.php), can the form
action still be PHP_SELF?:
Also there is no password field in the table, interbase will make the
connection if the password is correct, how do I capture the password and
username in a session variable from the login?
<?php
if ($login)
{
$host = 'localhost:C:\test\testdb.gdb';
$connection = ibase_connect($host,$username,$password)
or die ("Couldn't connect to server");
echo '<strong>Welcome ' . $username . ', you have logged onto the
database: ' .$host . '</strong>';
ibase_close($connection);
}
else
{
?>
<form name="form1" method="post" action="<?php echo
$PHP_SELF?>">
<input type="text" name="username" >
<input type="text" name="password">
<input type="submit" name="login" value="Login">
Thanks.
