It turns out that what I want is sort of there... http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#id266392 However, put me down for +1 on adding Security section of php.net and/or phpsec.org to the NEWBIE doc. :-) I still think we, as a community, should focus on giving better answers as documented in the URL referenced above. Not that we're doing BADLY, mind you, but let's aim for "better" as a group, eh?
