Hmmmm. Since MySQL just checks port/username/password to decide to give
you the same connection or not (persistent) maybe you need :8000 in the
host on the second setup...
Assuming it's even valid there.
Sounds like MySQL is believing you too literally about that 'host'
parameter, but then, that is what you are telling it... And I think the
default port is :80...
I'm really venturing into territory I don't know much about here, but it
will take you about a minute to try it...
