Rebooting will most likely pick up the /etc/init.d/apache or /etc/init.d/httpd script. Have this in /etc/rc.local on Fedora 5,

startApache=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl if [ -f "$startApache" ] ; then

        $startApache start
