Hi,
There are two different techniques to do that, first one, is to
read all the data from the gif file, put one pixel of one of them,
then another pixel from the other file till the image is created.
It's a bit tough becuase there is no such function getpixel while
there is a setpixel available as far as i know.
A very cool trick, is to use HTML codes! Put the world map as
a table's background (<table background=map.gif>) then put
the map of the country on that (<img src=country.gif>). Using
country maps as transparent gif images, the result will surprise
you! :-)

Hi,
do you think itis possible, using pgp IMG Functions
to create a gif on the fly by merging two existing images?
I mean using one image as the background and the second image as foreground?
I have to highlight a country in the world. So I would use an image of the world map as the
background and an image of the country I want to highlight as the foreground.
Would it be possible?
Thanks:
Nicola
