disable_functions

The following works fine from php.ini: disable_functions = phpinfo but if I remove it from php.ini again, and then add it to a VirtualHost container in httpd.conf it doesn't seem to prevent the use of phpinfo() for that virtual host: php_admin_value disable_functions phpinfo phpinfo() output shows that the disable_functions value is set to 'phpinfo' in the 'Local Value' column and not set in the 'Master Value' column. Also, does anyone know if there's a way to turn off the use of functions gloablly via php.ini, and then enable them for only selected VirtualHosts via Apache config?
