apache settings problem.
Have a look at: http://www.apache.org/docs/misc/FAQ.html
Your problem is:
http://www.apache.org/docs/misc/FAQ.html#POSTnotallowed
Which leads to:
http://www.apache.org/docs/misc/FAQ.html#CGIoutsideScriptAlias
What this means in english is your system isn't configured to run php as php
files
I would have a look in your apache config files for the AddHandler section.
(Get your sysadmin to load pico or something friendly like that - vi anyone
hehehe)
If it doesn't mention php anywhere thats your problem. (Or rasmus's
answer).
Cheers,
Lawrence.

Subject: [PHP] POST method not allowed
Hello guys!
I know it's not a pure php problem, but my webmaster ( who is a newbie in
unix) and me couldn't figure out what could be done here. He (the webmaster)
installed php from RPM and did those things I found in a mailing list
archive (uncommenting some lines and adding others), but when I want to make
my php work I get a message from the server, exactly like:
Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /admin/ind.php3.
