hi there,
anybody tried to get java support to run with JDK1.1.8 and a
freeBSD system (3.2) ?
Extension compiles and is active (according to phpinfo()),
classpath is set in php.ini but nevertheless commandline-php
gets me 'cannot instantiate non-existant class: java' error
when I try to do this:
$stylesheetstring = new Java("java.io.StringReader",
$stylesheet);
Can this be due to the somewhat outdated jdk on freeBSD
(there's no more recent port available)? Are there
alternatives for this platform I could try? Am I just
stupid?
thanks a billion for any help :)
