Sablot problem

For about a week now, my sablotron scripts stopped working. I reinstalled
over and over again. Eventually I found that the problem lies with the
'magic_quotes_runtime' var in php.ini. If its 'On', my scripts stop
working.
Now I put this at the top of my scripts:
set_magic_quotes_runtime(0);
Is this a bug? Or is there something about magic quotes and Sablotron
that just don't mix?
