scroll down to LIMIT
SELECT * FROM someTable LIMIT 5;
is the same as:
SELECT * FROM someTable LIMIT 0,5;
eg:
LIMIT X = LIMIT 0, X

Subject: [PHP] Database array
I have a MSQL database that hold 4 fields (date, userid, scores, comments).
I open a new browser window and display the records with three buttons on
the page (prev, next and edit record). I need to know how to move the array
pointer to the next record when somebody hits next or the previous record
one someone hits the prev button.
I can access the data and display all the records at the same time, but I
want to display only record at a time.
I know there is a next($results) and prev($results) command, but I don't
know how to incorperate it with html, javascript and PHP. If anybody could
provide any assistance I would be very greatful.
Thanks
Jon
