This is a good solution, if you enable that as an ISP
I didnt know AddType could work on a per directory basis,
cause i could use something like this
<Directory "some path here for a project using php">
Options FollowSymLinks
AddType application/x-httpd-php .html
AllowOverride None
</Directory>
:)

Alas no, it will only work as long as you do not pass parameters
If you start passing parameters many search engines will decide to
ignore it (characters like ?, &, =)
unless you configure your system to allow things like
http://myserver/some/path/here/index.html/variable1/variable2
Now i have done this with cgi scripts, using scriptalias, but I
have not tried it with php. Not sure how you can do it without
having too much of a performance hit for every other page.
But I guess you'd have to be real careful in your use of that,
to prevent spiders from running in circles in your database links,
for example. This means a careful coding of robots.txt, and maybe
using form buttons for links you only want a human to follow etc.
