Actually I have to take that statement back, One of the 3 does mention it
(PHP Pocket Reference), but the way it is organized and fonts used make it
impossible to quickly find anything. I finally found it last night although
I had overlooked it several times before.
The other two I have are PHP fast&easy web development and Web Application
Development with PHP 4.0.
The fast & easy book is very good for the extreme newbie. I could find a
book that explained things like this book for more difficult tasks I'd be in
heaven.
The web app book should be read before your first major project, it's good
at abstract planning but very light on how actual how-to. I haven't
finished reading this book because I'm not big on planning and a lot of it
seems either not to apply to my situation or is above my head right now.
