PGP signitures of PHP source tarballs?

Are PGP signatures available to verify the authenticity of the tarball
that I download from one of the PHP mirrors?
This has pretty much become a standard practice for open source projects
(including Apache). I've looked everywhere that I could think of
looking. Are there any plans to start doing this?
