Excuse me, but if you are going to flame for somethiong as little and
trivial as the WAY that somebody posts to the list then would you please
turn of your random fortune as the extra byte of information contained in
that useless part of your message is wasting much needed bandwidth on my
e-mail server!!!

rather than putting the reply before the question (which you have to
admit doesn't make much sense).
and to snip all irrelevant content rather than leaving it to slow down
the PHP.net server still further (not to mention increasing the size of
everyone's mailbox, and costing money in bandwidth).
This is helpful in many ways.
