Hi everyone, I am having problems linking PHP 4.0.3pl1 as a DSO for Apache 1.3.14 on a Debian 2.2 "potato" system. PHP compiles nicely just the linking is causing the follwing troubles: /usr/bin/ld: .libs/libphp4.so: undefined versioned symbol name __ns_name_unpack@@GLIBC_2.1 /usr/bin/ld: failed to set dynamic section sizes: Bad value PHP 3.0.17 and 3.0.18 build just find with the same configure options. My configure command is the following (without the linebreaks): ./configure --prefix=/opt --with-apxs --with-config-file-path=/opt/etc --with-mysql=/opt/packages/mysql-3.22.32 --with-pgsql=/opt/packages/postgresql-7.0.2/ --with-gettext --with-msql=/opt/packages/msql-2.0.11 --with-gd=/opt --with-zlib=/usr --with-jpeg-dir=/usr --with-xpm-dir=/usr/X11R6/ --with-imagemagick --with-ndbm --with-gdbm --with-dbm --with-db2 --with-yp --with-xml --enable-ftp --enable-debugger --enable-bcmath --enable-versioning I could not find anything about this in the FAQ - but maybe I overread the relevant piece of information? Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers -- Stephan -- Stephan Engelke engelke@gmx.net *** "He's dead, Jim. You grab his wallet, I'll grab his tricorder." ***
