Hello,
in my current project I use the function file();
I relied on the fact that each line of the file is located in an Arry item.
This is not unfortunately the case, if the line covers more than 8160 byte.
Which occurs in pure ASCII text data bases repeatedly.
Extensive lines are divided of the Function into several array items.
This brings the processing following on it however completely in disorder.
My Workaround (already since version 3.0.3):
The data with the function fread() read in and with
explode("\n ", $foo[$i]) convert in an array.
This error is very annoying, and also in the version 3.0.16 available.
The bug has thus a very long tradition in PHP.
Turns it please nevertheless the neck - thanks... :-)
