Hi
I need to make a rather complex CMS database independent. ( at least runable
on MySql and Oracle )
The problem is that the CMS uses heavy left joins in MySql. ist there
something in php that would
allow me to keep the same syntax for joins for both databases? i 'think'
ODBC would do that, but i'm
not sure what is needed on the serverside that ODBC can be supported by PHP.
( we can't access all our clients'
Webservers by telnet and install custon modules ).
any suggestion anyone?
Sebastian
