Curly question here. We're trying to make the same include file available via PHP and SSI which is fine. The caveat is that the file itself has to take a parameter as well. In SSI this would be <!--#set var="aClr" value="#AACC22" --> <!--#include virtual="include.html" --> and in the include.html file we have: aClr="<!--#echo var="aClr" -->"; which gets rendered to aClr="#AACC22" and everyone is happy :) If I use virtual() in PHP eg. <? virtual("include.html") ?> the file gets included fine and even the SSI tag in the include gets parsed however the result is aClr="(none") Is there anyway to set the value of aClr before calling virtual? I'm running PHP as an Apache module obviously. I tried putenv("aClr=#AACC22") but no go. Cheers, Graeme
