This message must be a follow up to another thread (which I have
apparently missed).
As with most UNIX software -- especially opensource UNIX software, you
should be able to go into your source directory and delete it all.
Then download the PHP+apache+etc source tar balls that you need and
start over. Follow the directions in the INSTALL file that is in the
PHP tar. It has complete instructions on how to set up PHP in a
variety of different configurations -- including as a module and
statically.
Sorry if this is not what you want, but in case it is -- hopefully it
is of help based on the lack of information the original email
provided.
